Restored, matched pair, of Dellorto DHLA40 carburetors.
This is a vintage set of 2 Dellorto DHLA40G carburettors which has been restored to their former glory.
As you can see in the pictures, they have been disassembled , cleaned and reassembled using new parts where required.
The work was carried out to our order in Italy by the best craftsmen that we know and consequently they have the "lighttight" butterfly valves, ensuring smooth idling.
Unfortunately, the carbs have lost their aluminium "tags" but are set-up for the Alfa Romeo Alfetta 1800 and 2000 engines.
Based on the suffix "G", we estimate their year of construction to be around 1980.
These carbs currently have the following basic set-up which can not be altered:
- Type: DHLA40 G
- Butterfly valves: 7481.3
- Idle mixture screw type: In turrets
- Air bleed screws? No
- Progression holes: 5
Furthermore they currently have the following flexible set-up:
- Chokes: 32 mm
- Main jet: 145
- Main emulsion tube: 7772.10
- Air Corrector: 240
- Idle emulsion tube: generic 10738
- Idle jet: 55
- Pump jet: 40
Only 1 set available at this moment but ready to ship.
Although originally set-up for the above mentioned Alfa Romeo Alfetta Sports Sedan 1800 and 2000, these carbs are also suitable, without major modification or rejectting, to other versions of the 1750, 1800 and 2000 Nord engines.
They are of course also usable on other makes of engines with a similar displacement but might then require rejetting and you might need a suitable inlet manifold.
We are dealers of Mangoletsi Design inlet manifolds so feel free to contact us to discuss your requirements.

These carburettors, just like any other "new"carburetor, will require fine tuning once on your engine. Balance screws, mixtures screw and fuel banjos need to be adjusted. Please take this into account when ordering these carbs.
