WZX 1777
This is a so-called SUPERDRY Jet Bearing Kit for a SU H Thermo carburetor.

The original seals that were used in these carburetors were made of specially treated cork washers and glands.
Experience learns us that their lifespan under the current conditions and with, aggressive, modern fuels is rather limited as especially Ethanol is no friend of these parts made from "natural" materials.

The SU company was well aware of this phenomenon and set to work.
The result is this jet bearing kit which uses fluorpolymere, a man-made, synthetic, rubber variant.
As these rubber washers and glands are significantly different from their cork counterparts, the whole bearing set needs to be swapped out.

So, this 13-piece set is all you need to upgrade 1 carburetor but please note that this kit is ONLY suitable for the Thermo carburetters!

General Notice

SU has been making carburetors (or "Carburetters" as they call them themselves) since 1904 and the number of different models runs in the hundreds.
In order to find the correct part for your specific carburetor, it helps us if you have the so-called "tag number" at hand.
This tag number is usually stamped onto a small aluminum tag found under one of the screws of the float chamber cover like in this photo:

Without this tag number, the search for the correct part is, also for us, rather challenging as most SU carburetors are look-a-likes of each-other and going just by vehicle type still leaves many options open.
