Coming straight from the most important manufacturer of diaphragm material: Effbe

Although we stock literally hundreds of diaphragms for virtually all makes of carburetors, it is always possible that a certain diaphragm is no longer produced yet it needs to be replaced.

Luckily some of these, generally older, diaphragms can be disassembled after which it is simply a matter of swapping out the tissue after which it is a serviceable part again, good for many years to come.

For these cases, we can now supply the original Effbe tissue.

This requires a little explaining so here we go:

This tissue is being sold, and is priced, by the square centimeter.
So, the indicated price of US$ 0.15 is for 1 cm2 (square centimeter).

The tissue is available in two thicknesses: 0.4 mm and 0.8 mm.
The price is the same for both versions.
You must make your choice through the drop-down menu just above the "Add to cart" button.

Now measure the patch of tissue that you will need, add a little extra as you will inevitably create some waste, calculate the number of cm2 that you will need and that is the number of units that you need to order.

The required diaphragm measures 5 x 4 cm, add a little to cover waste so you will need a patch of 7 x 6 cm = 42 cm2.
In this case you would order 42 units.
When you go to the check-out, please indicate in the Comments box there that you require a patch of 7 x 6 cm and presto!
